Bekasi administration’s public order division has announced plans to recruit 31 female field negotiators, says an official. He said that female negotiators were needed to achieve peaceful solutions in the field.
“We will offer these jobs to our female colleagues who work in different divisions within the Bekasi administration first,” said head of the administration division of the Bekasi public order office Charles Aritonang on Wednesday as quoted by tempo.co
He said that applicants were required to be at least 30-years-old and at least be a high school graduate. He said selected candidates would undergo negotiation skills training.
Currently, as many as 299 officers are listed with the public order office but only a handful of them are female and none of them work on the field.(nai/dic)
